The Indian government has started the Digital Agriculture Mission to help farmers using technology. One important part of this mission is AgriStack, a digital system that collects farmer information.

What is AgriStack?

AgriStack is like Aadhaar but for farmers. It helps the government keep records of farmers and their land. Farmers will get a Farmer ID, a special number that makes it easy to apply for government benefits.

AgriStack has three main parts:

  1. Farmer Registry – A list of farmers in every state.
  2. Geo-Referenced Village Maps – Digital maps to help in farming.
  3. Crop Sown Registry – A list of crops grown by farmers.

Why is the Farmer Registry Important?

The Farmer Registry is a government database that keeps track of farmers and their land records. This makes sure that farmers get benefits like loans, subsidies, and PM-KISAN payments.

Features of the Farmer Registry

  • Farmer’s Personal Details – Name, contact number, and address.
  • Land Ownership – Information about the land the farmer owns.
  • Real-Time Updates – Any change in land ownership is updated automatically.
  • State-Specific Information – Different states may ask for different details.

Farmer ID and PM-KISAN Scheme

The PM-KISAN Scheme gives money to farmers every year. Now, Farmer ID is required to apply for PM-KISAN in 11 states:

How to Check Farmer Registration Status

Farmers can check their registration status in three ways:

1. AgriStack Website

  • Visit the website for your state (example: for Uttar Pradesh, go to https://upfr.agristack.gov.in).
  • Click on Check Enrolment Status.
  • Enter your Enrolment ID or Aadhaar Number.
  • Click Check, and you will see your status.

2. Common Service Centres (CSC)

  • Visit your nearest CSC Centre.
  • Give your Farmer ID or Aadhaar Number to the officer.
  • The officer will check and tell you the result.

3. Farmer Registry Mobile App (Only for UP, MP, and Gujarat)

  • Download the Farmer Registry App from Google Play Store.
  • Open the app and select your language.
  • Click Check Enrolment Status.
  • Enter your Enrolment ID or Aadhaar Number.
  • Click Submit, and you will see your status.

What Happens After Registration?

Once a farmer registers, the government checks the details:

  • If the details match perfectly, Farmer ID is approved.
  • If details are unclear, officials will verify manually.
  • If details are incorrect, the application is rejected.

The Digital Agriculture Mission is a great step to help Indian farmers. With AgriStack, they can easily get government benefits and financial help. If you are a farmer, register now and check your status online!

For more details, visit your state’s Farmer Registry Portal or Nearest Common Service Centre.
